From patent to product: Vybe
Vybe vibrates the skin during an injection so that the patient feels less pain. In a split-lesion study published in Dermatologic Surgery, vibration-assisted anaesthesia reduced pain during dermatologic procedures.
Research programme
In a split-lesion study, vibration-assisted anaesthesia reduced pain during dermatologic procedures, and Qtanea Solutions now makes the vibration device, Vybe. Fractional CO2 laser delivery of topical corticosteroids hastened resolution of plaque sarcoidosis, and a laser technique has been applied to the upper airway to treat habitual snoring. Other papers compare platelet-rich plasma with microneedling for androgenetic alopecia.
