Patil on LIGHT, a Phase 3 Johnson & Johnson trial of bedaquiline in multibacillary leprosy, and on a Phase 0 study of plasma PGL-I for treatment monitoring. His clinical papers cover leprosy, the differential diagnosis of leonine facies, scrofuloderma and nodular secondary syphilis with granulomatous inflammation.
